Introduction of indian spices

In the last few decades India faced enormous growth in the exports of Indian spices in the world those exports includes branded and non-branded. Indian spices are exported to more than 140 countries. the aroma, flavor and exquisite characteristics of Indian spices are well acclaimed the world over. the wide range of 52 spices and its products in our export basket have impressed the discerning consumer these buyers have identified India as the destination for quality spices north America is the major buyer of Indian spices followed by EU , japan and west Asian countries.
In a world trade of spice India is at number three with 8.8% of the share. the major spices exported by India are Chilies { 40% }, turmeric { 10% }, cumin { 10%}, coriander { 9.5% }, Fenugreek { 4.2% }, peppers { 4% }, and other spices { 19% }.
though these spices provide innumerable benefits they should be use sparingly. the excessive use of spice can cause harm to the health try to make specific use of the spices. this will help to make optimal use of the resource provide by the nature . strike the right balance and then add the spices to your life.
Indian spices have been a heart to Indian culture and its fame is much older than Indian history. Adding more to it, spices have played an important role in the country civilization and commerce as it was accepted worldwide due to its aroma and its medical benefit. A notable use of spices and herbs in very early times were use medicine making for holy oils. traditionally India was know as the legendary land of spices, and the west coast of India.
as India was keeping a very good and powerful relationship very active with western world, ancient Egypt, Greek and Rome.
India is the global spice market producing tonnes of spices each year. India is also know as the home of spice. no India food is complete with the uses of spices in it. we Indians have a liking towards Food which is really spiced up. as for me i also fall into the same category. as spices can be used to produce aroma taste and some to compliment other spices.
as we know that spices are differ in various types which are basic , aromatic , and complimentary. apart from using them in cooking, some spices also have medical use. most of the spices also have therapeutic process too.
As we know that spices have being used as staple dietary additives since long time in India. as the study explores the seven spices that include cumin, clove,coriander,cinnamon ,turmeric,fenugreek and cardamom which are use on the basis of culinary uses as well as medical uses.
